The self-sealing Ellepot Membrane Bio is a plant-based plant membrane. This is a type of plastic membrane derived from plants such as sugar canes and cornstarch. The technology is also called PLA - It is a biodegradable plastic created from natural plant resources.

Recommendation: 
The product is widely used for many crops in hydroponic systems. For organic the material must be removed prior to planting into soil. Must not be used as a feedstock in compost for organic production.
